About the Government Performance and Accountability Committee (GPAC)

GPAC mission:

• Increase government accountability and integrity.

• Boost participation of CPAs in government within the AICPA.

• Enhance the value and image of CPAs in government.

• Advise the AICPA on government CPAs’ needs.

• Bridge communication between government CPAs, the AICPA and other organizations.

The 12-member volunteer committee (public sector, GAO, academia, public accounting) offers best practices and resources to AICPA® & CIMA® members and the finance profession.
