Helping clients make informed M&A decisions

Business owners should know what drives the value of their business in the eyes of buyers, so they can make informed decisions about selling or growing in the current mergers and acquisitions market.

Owners often receive a lot of misinformation about value. Even traditional valuation reports, which are designed for compliance or litigation, fail to address real market value considerations.

Key Topics

  • Current M&A market value trends
  • Value improvement advice for clients
  • Buyer perspectives on valuation

Learning Outcomes

  • Distinguish between traditional valuation methods and transactional valuation used by buyers in the market.
  • Recognize how to apply these market value trends when advising clients on value growth strategies.
  • Select between calculation methods used in traditional BV and market value techniques.

Who Will Benefit

Valuation professionals who want to advise clients about the value they might obtain when selling their business
